9/11 Clean Up

After the attacks of 9/11, the private market was unable to provide critical professional liability and environmental insurance to enable the contractors and employees to perform the cleanup at Ground Zero in New York City. We devised a strategy and worked closely with The President, OMB Director, and FEMA Director to secure $1 billion dollars in appropriated funds to create a special captive insurance layer above which the private market would cover.
