Carmen Group worked closely with the City of Chicago on one of the premier shoreline protection and waterfront redevelopment projects in the nation. This project included nearly $145 million in federal funds for the construction of 8 miles of flood walls, revetments, shoreline improvements, walkways and public access to Lake Michigan and the downtown Chicago waterfront. It has helped beautify and revitalize the City’s lakeshore area. Carmen Group assisted the City in its effort to obtain federal authorization for the project.
